Great Books will be hosted by Colegio Mayor Chaminade on the campus of Complutense University of Madrid, one of the most prominent universities in Spain. Long held in high regard for its research in the fields of physics, chemistry, and economics, it is no wonder that Albert Einstein frequently served as a visiting professor at UCM. Located in the historical cultural heritage site neighborhood of Ciudad Universitaria in Madrid and close to beautiful Caso de Campo, a more than 1,750-hectare park.

Great Books students enjoy a delightful blend of excellent academics and the best of the grand and vibrant city and dazzling cultural center of Madrid. Knowledge of Spanish is not required as reading and discussion will be in English. Those wishing to hone their Spanish skills will have ample opportunity to practice if they choose!
