Professor Schumacher has innovated the teaching and coaching of leadership skills across multiple disciplines and student and executive groups, most recently with MBA students at the Wharton School.

Residential & Day ProgramsGreat Books & Big Ideas Programs at Haverford will celebrate the classics and philosophy, including American and world literature. Dante, Virgil, Martin Luther King Jr., Alexandre Dumas, Gwendolyn Brooks, Miguel de Cervantes, Haruki Murakami, and Hannah Arendt are just some of the authors we will read this summer.
With new curriculum and a wide variety of readings each week, students can stay for a one or two-week program. Students staying for two weeks enjoy fun weekend activities and additional exploration of the Haverford campus and beautiful arboretum on Saturday.
