Founded in 1583, University of Edinburgh is located in the bustling town with dorms at the foot of majestic Arthur’s Seat. Recognized as a leading research university, the University of Edinburgh is the alma mater of David Hume, Robert Louis Stevenson, Charles Darwin, Alexander Graham Bell, and Pippa Middleton.
