The renowned Great Books Summer Program is returning to Dublin this summer. Come journey with us into the heart of the Emerald Isle. Together we will explore the sights, sounds, and vibrant culture that inspired the greatest works of famed Irish authors such as Joyce, Yeats, Swift, Shaw, and Wilde.
Enriching Academics, Cultural Exploration, Friendship, & Fun
Student will reside on the campus of Trinity College in Dublin for an unforgettable pre-college experience at Ireland’s oldest university. Mornings are spent in Shared Inquiry seminars led by native Dubliner, Dr. Frank Leahy, a Trinity College graduate in English Literature and Linguistics. Through deep readings and lively discussions with peers and scholars, students gain skills in critical thinking, thoughtful self-expression, and the confidence to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Unique to our Dublin program, students engage in special workshops and clinics with notable Dublin authors and theater artists where they have the opportunity to engage with local scholars and learn about Irish history and storytelling.
Afternoons and most evenings are spent touring the streets of Dublin and exploring the sites that inspired this city’s great stories. Outings will include Trinity College, its library and the Books of Kells, James Joyce Tower, Bram Stoker’s Castle, and other points of literary and historical significance.

Choose one, two, three, four, or all five weeks. With programs in Dublin, Athens, Madrid, Edinburgh, and Oxford, this is sure to be an exciting summer!
