TED Shares 70 Summer Reading Selections from Notable Names
Written by Great Books on Friday, July 11, 2014
What are you reading this summer? Many newspapers, magazines, websites, and libraries are offering lists of things to read this summer (mostly books that are just out or classics), but the popular TED Conferences pulled together these lists of suggested reading from notable names in the TED Community. The lists are from such folks as Elizabeth Gilbert, Bill Gates, Rashida Jones, Clay Shirky, and Stanley McChrystal and feature favorite books of theirs from Lean In (co-written by one of our Great Books speakers) to Marcus Aurelius. Were you surprised by any of their recommended books? If you had to pull together a list of must-read books this summer, what would those books be?
